Gloria Stuart Dead at 100

Hollywood actress Gloria Stuart passed away September 26, 2010 at the age of 100 due to respiratory failure. She is best known for her portrayal as the older version of Rose (also played by Kate Winslet) in the movie Titanic that made her the oldest nominee for the Academy Awards. Her co-stars in Titanic, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet says they were saddened by the lost of Gloria whom Leo describes as a sweet loving person and the woman who fights for what she thinks is right.
